The Steering Committee on Media and Information Society (CDMSI) will organise a workshop to examine the challenges to the profession of journalism, news-making and media organisations in the age of digital convergence.

The objectives of the workshop are to raise awareness in the CDMSI about these challenges, to have an informed debate about their public policy implications and to start a reflection on possible European policy responses.

The European Federation of Journalists will participate to this debate.
