ETUC event ‘Time for Our Recovery – Europe needs a pay rise’

The ETUC event ‘Time for Our Recovery – Europe needs a pay rise’ will be the opportunity to launch the Europe-wide campaign for a pay rise for workers in Europe (the EFJ is partner of the campaign).

The event starts on February 14 at 14:30 and finishes on February 15 at 13:00.

The afternoon of the 14th will be a public event to which trade unionists, employers, high level representatives of national Governments and EU institutions will discuss and debate why Europe needs a pay rise and how a pay rise would be good for the economy and for social justice.

The morning of the 15th will be an event for trade unionists, open to other social partners, to discuss how to achieve a pay rise, and the current situation in different EU countries in terms of wage negotiations and trends, collective bargaining and minimum wages and pay gaps.

It will take place in the ITUH Auditorium, ITUH, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 5, 1210 Brussels.

There will active interpretation in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, and passive interpretation in Polish, Slovak and Swedish (you can speak in these languages, but not hear speeches interpreted into them).
