The next EU Tripartite Social Summit for Growth and Employment will be held on 18 October 2017 from 14h00 to 17h00. Press Conference at 17h00.

A preparatory meeting will be held in the ETUC premises from 10h45 to 12h45.

Oliver Roethig (UNI-Europa) and Renate Schroeder (EFJ) will represent the ETUFs.

Here are the proposed themes as agreed during the preparatory meeting:
General theme:
• Shaping Europe’s future: strengthening resilience and promoting economic and social progress for all
3 sub-themes for moderated discussion:
• Subtheme 1: The involvement of social partners (in policies and reforms) at national level – progress made and ways to improve
• Subtheme 2: The social dimension of Europe
• Subtheme 3: Investing in learning in a digital economy and society

The working languages are: English, French, German, Estonian and Bulgarian.
