The European Free Alliance and its MEP Jordi Sebastia Talavera are organising a debate in the European Parliament.

“Press Freedom-Keeping journalists safe” will focus on a side of press freedom violations we sometimes tend to forget. And this is the journalists and their safety while reporting under extreme/extraordinary situations. The manual “Safety Net for Journalists” (http://seemo.org/Images/pdf/English.pdf) will also be presented during the event. The EFJ will participate in a panel on “Is Europe doing enough for press freedom?”
