During the campaign, over 100 people assumed the role of guest editor-in-chief for the day, including Reporters sans frontières (RSF) Turkey representative Erol Önderoğlu; journalists in the country such as Ragıp Duran, Aydın Engin, Faruk Eren, Tuğrul Eryılmaz, Kumru Başer and Hasan Cemal; writers such as Murat Uyurkulak, Nadire Mater, Mustafa Sönmez and Ayşe Düzkan; and former parliamentarians such as Melda Onur, Hasip Kaplan and Sebahat Tuncel.Turkish prosecutors launched a number of investigations into participants in the three-month campaign, opening trials into many. In the first of these trials, Ayşe Düzkan and Ragıp Duran will stand before a judge on 20 September.
