Seminar Policy Making at EU Level – Populism vs. Democracy

MEP Paulo Rangel, Vice-Chairman of the EPP Group, and the Institute for Political Studies of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in association with Europaeum are organising a seminar on “Policy Making at EU Level”, taking place at the European Parliament, Brussels, between March 19th and March 21th.
This is a joint effort to link academic and policy institutions, contributing to a better understanding of the process of preparation and discussion of European Union policies, engaging in a lively debate among scholars, students, policy makers and opinion leaders.
The EFJ GS Ricardo Gutiérrez will participate on Panel 5 “Populism vs. Democracy”, on 20th March, from 3.30pm to 4.45pm, at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
