In France, the Defender of Rights, a constitutional independent agency, is responsible for guiding and protecting whistleblowers since the creation of a framework of protection by the Law of 9 December 2016 relating to transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernization of the economic life. Conference will focus around the theme disinformation, where EFJ Director Renate Schroeder will participate as a speaker.
