La communaut\u00e9 des journalistes est invit\u00e9e \u00e0 observer une minute de silence, dans le hall du R\u00e9sidence Palace (155, rue de la Loi, Bruxelles), ce jeudi 8 janvier, \u00e0 11 heures, afin de rendre hommage aux victimes de la tuerie perp\u00e9tr\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction de\u00a0Charlie Hedbo<\/em>.<\/p>\n

La tuerie perp\u00e9tr\u00e9e, ce mercredi, dans les locaux de l’hebdomadaire fran\u00e7ais Charlie-Hebdo, \u00e0 Paris, rel\u00e8ve de l’horreur absolue.<\/p>\n

Selon les informations dont on dispose, au moins deux hommes arm\u00e9s et encagoul\u00e9s ont attaqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l’arme automatique le si\u00e8ge de\u00a0Charlie Hebdo<\/em>, \u00e0 Paris, ce mercredi,\u00a0vers 11h30. Douze personnes sont mortes dans l’attaque.\u00a0Parmi les douze victimes, les dessinateurs Cabu, Charb, Honor\u00e9, Tignous, et Wolinski, les chroniqueurs Bernard Maris et Elsa Cayat, ainsi que Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Boisseau, agent d’entretien, Franck Brinsolaro, qui assurait la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de Charb, et Mustapha Ourrad, correcteur.<\/p>\n

La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration europ\u00e9enne des journalistes (FEJ), principale organisation repr\u00e9sentative de la profession en Europe, tient d’abord \u00e0 marquer sa solidarit\u00e9 avec les victimes et avec leurs proches. Nous leur exprimons nos plus sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances. Le pr\u00e9sident danois de la FEJ,\u00a0Mogens Blicher Bjerreg\u00e5rd, se rendra \u00e0 Paris, d\u00e8s aujourd’hui ou demain, pour rendre hommage aux victimes.<\/p>\n

Quels qu’en soient les auteurs et leurs motivations, la FEJ appelle les autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises \u00e0 tout mettre en oeuvre pour punir ce crime ignoble. \u00ab\u00a0En s’en prenant \u00e0 une r\u00e9daction, les auteurs de la tuerie ont vis\u00e9 la libert\u00e9 de la presse. C’est la presse libre et ind\u00e9pendante qui est vis\u00e9e, une presse plus que jamais menac\u00e9e, en Europe\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, commente Mogens Blicher Bjerreg\u00e5rd.<\/p>\n

Rappelons que selon le d\u00e9compte dress\u00e9 par la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration internationale des journalistes (FIJ), 118 journalistes sont morts dans l’exercice de leur profession, en 2014. En Europe, neuf journalistes ont perdu la vie, l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, principalement en Ukraine, soit trois fois plus qu’en 2013.<\/p>\n

La FEJ appelle \u00e0 nouveau les gouvernements, l’Union europ\u00e9enne et les organisations intergouvernementales (Conseil de l’Europe et Organisation pour la Coop\u00e9ration et la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 en Europe) \u00e0 intensifier leurs efforts en vue d’assurer la protection des journalistes en Europe.<\/p>\n

Mogens Blicher Bjerregaard, who is also chairman of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), also said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe attack on Charlie Hebdo touches us all, and is naturally reminiscent of the 2006 cartoon crisis. As journalists, artists and media people, we are deeply affected by such an attack. Il n\u2019y a pas de mot assez fort pour exprimer aujourd\u2019hui la tristesse et la col\u00e8re de la profession. Le massacre perp\u00e9tr\u00e9 contre la r\u00e9daction de Charlie-Hebdo<\/i> est une horreur qui nous frappe toutes et tous. Quand on tue des journalistes, c\u2019est pour faire peur \u00e0 toute une profession, c\u2019est pour faire taire. Attaquer un journal, c\u2019est vouloir museler la libert\u00e9 d\u2019expression dans une d\u00e9mocratie.<\/p>\n

Le fait que ce soit Charlie-Hebdo<\/i> qui ait \u00e9t\u00e9 vis\u00e9 est un symbole important. Le Syndicat National des Journalistes (SNJ), premi\u00e8re organisation de la profession, tient \u00e0 assurer Charlie-Hebdo<\/i> de tout son soutien en ce moment particuli\u00e8rement cruel. DJV entsetzt \u00fcber Anschlag\u00a0auf Charlie Hebdo<\/p>\n

Berlin, 7.01.2015 \u2013 Mit Entsetzen hat der Deutsche Journalisten-Verband auf den Terrorakt gegen die franz\u00f6sische Satirezeitschrift Charlie Hebdo reagiert. DJV-Bundesvorsitzender Michael Konken sprach den Angeh\u00f6rigen der elf Toten das Beileid aller 36.000 Mitglieder des Deutschen Journalisten-Verbands aus. Den Verletzten w\u00fcnschte er eine m\u00f6glichst schnelle Genesung. Nach ersten Berichten drangen zwei schwer bewaffnete T\u00e4ter am Morgen in die Redaktionsr\u00e4ume der islamkritischen Zeitschrift ein und schossen um sich. Dabei sollen elf Menschen den Tod gefunden haben. Zehn weitere Redaktionsmitarbeiter sollen verletzt worden sein. Die T\u00e4ter bef\u00e4nden sich auf der Flucht, hie\u00df es.<\/p>\n

\u201eDas ist ein Anschlag auf das Grundrecht der Presse- und Meinungsfreiheit\u201c, sagte Konken. \u201eEs ist unfassbar, dass in einem demokratischen und freiheitlichen Land eine Satirezeitschrift in den Fokus von Fanatikern geraten kann, die mit brutalsten Mitteln versuchen, islamkritische Standpunkte zu unterdr\u00fccken.\u201c Der DJV- Vorsitzende appellierte an die franz\u00f6sischen Sicherheitsbeh\u00f6rden, die T\u00e4ter so schnell wie m\u00f6glich dingfest zu machen.<\/p>\n

Myndigheter og p\u00e5talemyndighet m\u00e5 arbeide for \u00e5 hindre lignende handlinger i Norge, og alle trusler mot journalister og redaksjoner m\u00e5 f\u00f8lges opp med etterforskning og nedleggelse av strenge p\u00e5stander for domstolene, sier han.<\/p>\n

Les journalistes norv\u00e9giens r\u00e9agissent avec horreur \u00e0 l’attaque terroriste contre le magazine Charlie Hebdo.
\nVous \u00eates dans nos pens\u00e9es et dans nos c\u0153urs en cette p\u00e9riode diffcile. C’est une trag\u00e9die pour les victimes, et une journ\u00e9e noire pour les journalistes et pour la libert\u00e9 d’expression. L’attentat risque d’avoir comme effet que les journalistes\u00a0craignent de faire leur travail de la mani\u00e8re qu’ils jugent juste et n\u00e9cessaire. Qu’ils craignent pour leur vie et leur sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Nous sommes tous perdants si nous laissons ceux qui se mettent en dehors des normes d\u00e9mocratiques de discussion, de critique et d’analyse de d\u00e9cider si et comment un tel extr\u00e9misme religieux doit \u00eatre trait\u00e9 par la presse. \u00c7a rendrait le d\u00e9bat social vuln\u00e9rable \u00e0 de nouvelles attaques.<\/p>\n

Les caricaturistes de Charlie Hebdo croyaient en la force de la satire pour d\u00e9shabiller le pouvoir. Si les extr\u00e9mistes craignent la libert\u00e9 d’expression, c’est parce qu’elle fonctionne r\u00e9ellement. Et la satire parce qu’elle frappe fort. Nous devons en ce moment crucial \u00e9tendre la libert\u00e9 de l’expression plut\u00f4t que de la restreindre.<\/p>\n

L’attaque contre Charlie Hebdo n’est pas seulement une grande trag\u00e9die de nos jours. Il fait \u00e9galement partie d’une longue s\u00e9rie de victimes\u00a0ces derniers centenaires\u00a0de la guerre pour la libert\u00e9 d’expression. Et s’il y a une chose que nous pouvons apprendre de l’histoire, c’est que la libert\u00e9 d’expression ne peut sortir gagnant si on ne se sert pas de cette libert\u00e9. Surtout quand elle est sous l’attaque. Donc, aujourd’hui – et dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir – nous devons tous oser \u00eatre Charlie Hebdo.<\/p>\n

We will\u00a0all loose\u00a0if we let those who put themselves outside the democratic norms of discussion, criticism and analysis, decide whether and how such religious extremism should be covered.\u00a0The debate would be restricted and vulnerable to new attacks.<\/p>\n

Charlie Hebdo is not just a tragedy of today, it is also one of the victims in a long series of victims in the centuries-old war for freedom of expression. The Charlie Hebdo<\/em> published caricature of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of so-called Islam State on Twitter. The newsroom was attacked and burned down by bomb even in 2011, after publishing caricature of Mohammad the Prophet.<\/p>\n

The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate (PJS) joined the French journalists’ unions and syndicates in condemning the shooting attack that took place at the offices of the French magazine \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb in Paris, in which at least five journalists were murdered.<\/p>\n

PJS is saddened by this unprecedented assault on \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb which has caused a shock among Palestinian journalist.<\/p>\n

PJS is presenting its’ sincere condolences to the victims’ families and friends, and hope that those who committed the crime should be\u00a0 punished.<\/p>\n

Statement regarding the terrorist attack on the \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb magazine<\/p>\n

Suffered French satirical magazine \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb Wednesday morning to a terrorist attack in the heart of the capital, Paris, was carried out by three unidentified gunmen, and killed 12 people, including four well-known painters \u00ab\u00a0Charb, Wolinski and Cabut\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

We are in the Union Of Free Media in Rojava condemn and deplore in the strongest terms this cowardly terrorist attack, which targeted journalists and \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb magazine, and we stress that this attack is an attack on democracy and free media in the world, and was the result of the radical lag mentality which does not accept different colors and only believe by one color in the world , and it is the same mentality which\u00a0 Beheaded journalists in Syria and Iraq, and is targeting democracy and free media in Rojava.<\/p>\n

We also announce solidarity with the \u00ab\u00a0Charlie Hebdo\u00a0\u00bb magazine and its journalists, and offer our condolences to the French journalists and the families of victims of this massacre, and we wish them patience and fortitude and quick recovery for the wounded.<\/p>\n
