EFJ General Meeting 2016, Sarajevo
The 2016 General Meeting (GM) of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) will be hosted by its affiliate, the Bosnia-Herzegovina Journalists’ Association (BHN) on 25 and 26 April 2016 in Sarajevo. Around 100 delegates and guests from across Europe will be attending the meeting in Sarajevo.

All meeting documents will be sent to delegates attending the meeting. They will also be made available on our website exclusively for EFJ members. You shall receive the login password from the EFJ secretariat. If not, please contact us.

Hotels
Delegates and guests will be staying at Hotel Europe, Hotel Astra Garni, Hotel Art, and Hotel Astra. You shall receive a rooming list from the EFJ secretariat. If you have any inquiries concerning hotel, please contact our local contact at Sarajevo Arman Fazlic from the Bosnia-Herzegovina Journalists’ Association.
At the airport
Transfer from the airport to the hotel is arranged for you upon arrival.
However, for departure, please arrange your own transport.
Location of meetings
All meetings of the GM will be held at Hotel Europe (Vladislava Skarica 5, Sarajevo 71000). The GM will last for two full days, starting from 9 am 25 April to 5 pm 26 April. We recommend delegates to arrive the day before or early
Flights
The Sarajevo International airport is located 10 kilometers from the hotel. For your information, connecting flights from Brussels – Munich – Sarajevo on the GM dates are available now at around 200 euros (Adria via Belgrade or Alitalia via Roma-Fiumicino).
Costs
Estimated cost for two-day accommodation: about 180 EUR (90 EUR per night including breakfast).
Visas
The citizens of all European countries may enter, pass through and stay in Sarajevo with a valid passport without a visa. For more information, please visit the Bosnia-Herzegovina Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
