The 2018 Annual Meeting (AM) of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) will take place on 6 June in Lisbon. Around … delegates and guests from across Europe will be attending the meeting in Lisbon.

RESOLUTIONS

Delegates of the EFJ AM 2018 will adopt a series of resolutions and statements. Final versions will be available for download here after the meeting.

Member unions and associations with voting rights and the Steering Committee have the right to submit motions which are of journalists’ and journalists’ unions and associations’ interest in Europe. They must be submitted to the Steering Committee at least one month before the AM (not later than 5 May). Urgent motions can be submitted until the opening of the AM and must be accepted with the approval of at least two-thirds of the voting delegates present. Motions at the Annual Meeting cannot deal with EFJ rules.

MEETING DOCUMENTS

All meeting documents will be sent to delegates attending the meeting. They will also be made available on our website exclusively for EFJ delegates. You shall receive the login password from the EFJ secretariat. If not, please contact us.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Hotel

At the airport

Arrivals and departures are currently NOT organised by EFJ. The address of the main international airport of Lisbon, Humberto Delgado Lisbon Airport is Alameda das Comunidades Portuguesas, 1700-111 Lisbon, Portugal. Public transportation is easily available from the airport to the hotel.

Location of meetings

All meetings of the AM will be held at Sana Malhoa Hotel, Avenue José Malhoa 8, 1099-089 Lisbon, Portugal. The AM will take place on Wednesday 6th June, from 8.30 until 18.00. 

EFJ Steering Committee (only for SC members) meeting is scheduled at 12 pm on Tuesday 5th June.
