Oktober beim Deutschlandradio in Berlin mit redaktionellen Strategien gegen Lügen und Hass im Netz. Propaganda, gezielte Falschmeldungen, persönliche Diskreditierungen und Hassbotschaften sind zwar nichts Neues. Schon immer versuchen ihre Urheber, die Medien für entsprechende Manipulationen zu instrumentalisieren. DIVERCITY: “Preventing and combating homo- and transphobia across Europe” The EFJ GS Ricardo Gutiérrez will deliver a training on "Reporting LGBT" to local journalists in Sabadell (Spain). LGBT people in the EU experience discrimination, harassment and violence in different areas of life. Homo- and transphobia in smaller and medium-sized cities has particular dynamics, as the access to resources for LGBT people may be more problematic due to the dimension of local agencies, the associative structure and the LGBT community. Eurocadres event on whistleblowing

Eurocadres, the Council of European Professional and Managerial Staff, is organising an event on whistleblowing on 30 October during their 4th Congress. With the support of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the event will take place in Brussels, at the EESC premises in room VMA3.
