Focus : Förderung journalistischer Rechte und Arbeitsplätze

Im Jahr 2015 hat sich die Europäische Journalisten-Föderation (EJF) auf ihre gewerkschaftlichen Kernaufgaben konzentriert. So ist es uns gelungen, positive Etappenziele zu erreichen – bei der Förderung journalistischer Rechte und Arbeitsplätze, bei der Entwicklung von Strategien zur Mitgliederwerbung und bei der Durchsetzung von Sicherheitsstandards für Journalisten. Auf dem Gebiet des Urheberrechts ist es uns gelungen, Rechte für Journalisten im Prozess der Schaffung eines Digitalen Binnenmarktes (Digital Single Market), wie ihn die Europäische Kommission vorantreibt, durchzusetzen. Wir haben uns für eine Stärkung des Urheberrechts durch faire Verträge und Tarifverhandlungen eingesetzt; zwei wichtige Vorgehensweisen, um eine angemessene Honorierung von Journalisten sicherzustellen. September in Wien organisiert worden war.
